Delhi CM asks Delhiites to submit him suggestions by 5 PM on 12th on pandemic lockdown’s future

The chief minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal has assured the deceased Corona warrior’s family of Delhi government’s one crore financial compensation and expressed his grief and condolences to the bereaved family praying to Almighty to render enough strength to bear this most irreparable loss. The Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal while expressing his condolences said that while distributing food in schools this dedicated corona warrior sacrificed the precious life. We are heartily pained and salute such corona warriors who are risking their lives in serving the people of Delhi selflessly n with dedication. The Delhi government had announced one crore financial compensation to the bereaved family of Delhi police corona warrior 31 year old Amit Sharma of Sonepat, a week ago, who sacrificed his life while performing his duty dedicatedly. The Delhi chief minister was speaking to Delhiites today. While describing the Delhi citizens about his interaction with the prime minister yesterday alongwith other chief ministers Arvind Kejrival threw the ball in the court of Delhiites requesting them to send their suggestions n ideas latest by 5 PM tomorrow pertaining to the lockdown which is expiring on 17th May.

The chief minister has unambiguously asked the people of Delhi to send him suggestions whether they are for the relaxations in Delhi regarding opening of transport servises including metro, industrial units, malls, markets, shops or other mode of busineses or are in favour of lockdown to be extended further. He specifically asked Delhiites to send them all the suggestions through phone call on 1031 by recording their messages, on the whats app number 880007722 or on email address- delhicm.suggestions@gmail.com latest by 5.00 PM tommorow. He said that he will thereafter send their view points to the prime minister. However it may be recalled that the prime minister Narendra Modi is also addressing the countrymen today evening at 8.00 PM. This would be his 5th/ 6th address to the countrymen during the lockdown period. While putting forth his view point Arvind Kejriwal said that during the teleconferencing with the prime minister Narendra Modi yesterday, majority of the chief ministers were in favour of extending the lockdown further. We need to ensure that the health of the country and Delhi is safeguarded in view of the deadly pandemic Covid19 and the financial health of the nation n the state as well.

It may be recalled that prime minister Narendra Modi has asked all the chief ministers of the country yesterday during his interaction to send him their suggestions in this regard before 17th May in order to arrive at the consensual decision pertaining to the lockdown after 17th May especially in view of the plight of countrymen, especially the working class, the degrading economy of the country and contagious spread of disease speedily.
