Kiara Advani and Siddharth Malhotra recently got hitched in Rajasthan and took to social media to share their wedding pictures. So far, they have shared three pictures, each one more adorable than the last. The most noticeable thing, however, was the caption on these pictures, which was reminiscent of the 2021 blockbuster, Shershah, in which they played the male and female leads. This is allegedly the film where this particular love story began and further blossomed. They went ahead and captioned their post with the dialogue “Ab humari permanent booking ho gayi hai” (We are permanently booked now), which was a popular dialogue said by Sid in the film. Further on, the caption read, “We seek your blessings and love on our journey ahead.” Upon closer inspection, the photos show that Kiara and Siddharth adorn pastel-coloured attire, where Kiara was seen wearing a pastel pink lehenga, and Siddarth was seen wearing a cream-coloured sherwani.
Siddarth and Kiara proceeded to get married at the Suryagarh resort, closer to Jaisalmer in Rajasthan. The couple of the hour went ahead and did their pheras with only close family and friends in attendance. Apparently, a wedding band from Delhi was flown all the way there, and the groom made their entry in a fairytale-esque way by making their entry on a beautiful white mare. The pre-wedding festivities were inclusive of a mehendi ceremony, a sangeet and a haldi ceremony.
Even though the wedding was a small one, that doesn’t mean that the creme-de-la-creme of Bollywood and Mumbai weren’t there. Amongst the guests, the most popular attendees were Karan Johar, Shahid Kapoor and wife Meera Rajput, Juhi Chawla with husband Jay Mehta and Isha Ambani along with Anand Piramal. Shahid and Kiara were popularly the leads in the Blockbuster hit “Kabir Singh”, while Karan Johar acted as a mentor and guide for both of them, providing them with their first major breaks in Bollywood. With 2012 “Student of the Year” for Siddarth and “Lust Stories” for Kiara.
