Dharmendra to return on the Silver Screen with “Rocky aur Rani ki Prem Kahani”

It is an unparalleled feeling to see his father Dharmendra’s face light up when he goes to a film set event today, stated actor Bobby Deol, who is looking forward to Dharmendra returns to cinema with Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.

Dharmendra, who was seen last in the 2018 comedy Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se with both of his sons, Bobby and Sunny Deol, will be playing a significant role in Karan Johar’s upcoming movie Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The 87-year-old icon of Bollywood is also going to be featured in a cameo as a Sufi saint Salim Chishti in the TV series available on ZEE5 by the name of Taj: Divided By Blood.

Bobby Deol told the Press Trust of India that he is highly excited. His father is 87, but he sees the joy on his face every time he goes to Work, and then suddenly somebody will come and meet him, and the next thing he knows, Dharmendra has signed another film! At his age, work is not easy, but he still manages well enough with some outstanding filmmakers. Every day at Work appears to be his first day, and his passion for this industry is on a different level altogether.

Bobby Deol, alongside his father Dharmendra, his brother Sunny and his nephew Karan are also set to share screen time in Anil Sharma’s Apne 2.

Bobby Deol, whose career got a fresh air with hits such as Housefull 4 and Race 3, described the web series Aashram by Prakash Jha as a turnaround. In the series, Bobby plays the role of Baba Nirala, a con man.

He stated that Aashram proved a turning point in his career and made the audience realise he could do different roles. After this project, he took on the Love Hostel project. He said he is thankful to God and his fans for giving him enough work to work hard.
