Sachin didn’t responded to my repeated calls. Advises Pilot to never follow Jyotiraditya ‘s way to join BJP : Digvijay

The Congress’s senior leader and former national general secretary Digvijay Singh has while advising the Congress rebel n former deputy CM of Rajasthan Sachin Pilot not to go the Jyotiraditya Scindia way and resolve the differences within the party has also complained that he had not responded to my three repeated telephonic calls which happened for the first time, despite the fact that I like him as used to like Jyotiraditya Scindia. The senior leader of the Congress party n former MP CM famous for his outspoken comments against BJP’s alleged communal stance and becoming controversial by pronouncing Osamaji in one of his press conferences’ several years’ ago Digvijay Singh was responding to the NDTV anchor’s questions in an interview today. Advising Sachin Pilot not to commit a blunder of leaving an oldest party Digvijay Singh said that being over ambitious is nothing wrong as one can progress only if he or she is ambitious but fulfilling ambition should be achieved believing in ideologies, programme, policies n ideals of the party we belong to.

One should be committed to the party’s ideals. Digvijay Singh was answering to the questions posed to him in an NDTV interview after the political crisis that generated due to the sharp differences between the Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot n Sachin Pilot. He catagorically said that Ashok Gehlot was elected CM of Rajasthan through a duly democratic process after the party secured majority defeating the BJP and there is no doubt that this victory had quite a major share of Sachin Pilot too.

Now he has difference with the CM. These differences could be sorted out in an amicable n harmonial atmosphere through mutual dialogue said Digvijay Singh. He cautioned Sachin Pilot not to follow Jyotiraditya Scindia n never join the BJP as whoever has joined the saffron party has been of nowhere ? Regarding a question of forming his own political outfit in Rajasthan Congress leader Digvijay Singh said : what’s the use of weakening the Congress party by going for a regional party.

After all what not was given by the Congress party to him ? He was made MP at the age of 26, After the sad demise of his father who was a senior Congress leader n minister whom we respected a lot n same was the tragedy with Madhavi Raj hi, father of Jyotiraditya Scindia, we all reverted them n held in high esteem n were shocked to hear about their sad accidental demise. BOTH of them were elevated after their father’s sad demise n both had achieved progress n prosperity in Congress.

After becoming MP at the mere age of 26 Pilot was appointed minister at the age of 32, thereafter president of the party at 34 n finally deputy CM of Rajasthan at 38. Therefore what’s the need to form a regional party ? Instead he should have resolved the issue, if any about differences etc within the party by contacting the party’s national general secretary Avinash Pandey who is also the in-charge of Rajasthan n would have sorted out the issue along with his loyal MLAs. What is the necessity to put them in the ITCs Manesar hotel where the BJP had kept the MLAs during the Maharashtra n Karnataka crisis.

Is it not sending a wrong signal ? Therefore Sachin Pilot should finally give up thinking of any differences or confrontation with the CM or Congress n should resolve the impasse within the party through amicable discussions n positive thinking.
