ISRO LVM 3 Launch Successfully, History Remarked

On the 26th of March, 36 OneWeb satellites were placed in Orbit through the second commercial conducted by the ISRO LVM-3 launch. Currently, this happens to be the second ISRO LVM-3 launch conducted for OneWeb, a United Kingdom-based company supported by both the Government of the UK and Bharti Enterprises of India.

So far, this is the 6th heaviest Rocket in India listed in the ISRO LVM-3 launch. This also includes the Chandrayaan 2 launch in 2019 and the second one, where a demonstration was done to show the capability of launching multiple satellites into Low Earth Orbit. This being the 18th launch of OneWeb satellites brought the total number of satellites in the atmosphere to 618 by the company. This company intends to use the 588 active satellites in the first-generation constellation to provide high-speed and low-latency Global connectivity.

In a press release issued by the company, they stated that the high-speed and low-latency solutions provided by OneWeb would assist massively in connecting different communities, businesses, and governments worldwide while demonstrating the unparalleled potential that low Earth orbit connectivity holds. They also stated that this ISRO LVM-3 launch will help the towns, villages, municipalities, and schools in India’s hardest-to-reach areas be connected to the rest of the world.

India has primarily concentrated on increasing the Global commercial space market since the country opened its doors to private corporate runners in 2020. This is one of the world’s biggest space-faring Nations but only holds 2% of the commercial market.
