The health condition of eminent writer, literaturer, contemporary Hindi poet n Sahitya Academy recipient Manglesh Dabral is deteriorating day by day currently on ventilator with his kidneys not functioning likely to go on dialysis. Manglesh Dabral who was initially admitted at private ” Le Crest” hospital’s ICU in Sector 4, Vasundhara, after contracting Covid about more than ten days ago was suffering from Acute pneumonia. He was in this hospital for about four days finally shifted at AIIMS few days ago. According to today’s update from AIIMS: The patient is on ventilator. He is in an unconcious state and being given respiration through the machine. The doctors are closely monitoring his condition. The kidneys are not functioning satisfactorily. May be the doctors may put him on dialysis. The heart beat is fast. The Blood pressure is being controlled through medicines. Lungs are in bad shape. Condition is critical. Doctors are doing their best but are unpredictable whether his condition will improve or not. If a patient suffers from Corona and goes in ventilator, situation becomes critical and unpredictable. The Kidneys are not creating unrine. There is acute infection. The results of count is enormous, completely negative. It is extremely difficult to predict whether he will recover or not ? Broadly his condition is very critical. Regarding Kidney, let,’s see, what comes out tomorrow ? Covid test has also been done, the report will come on Thursday. AIIMS. Manglesh dabral update (10 pm) “आपके पेशेंट अभी वेंटिलेटर पर हैं। उनको बहोशी में रखा गया है क्योंकि मशीन से सांस दी जा रही है। यूरिन बहुत कम आ रहा है। डाक्टर देखकर गए हैं। हो सकता है कल प्लान करें, डायलिसिस करें…। हृदय गति कुछ तेज है। बीपी को कंट्रोल करने के लिए दवा चल रही है। लंग्स अभी काफी खराब हैं। डायलिसिस होने के बाद पीठ के बल से हटाकर सीधा लिटाएंगे। कंडीशन अच्छी नहीं है। लेकिन अभी ट्राई कर रहे हैं। ये नहीं बता सकते कि ठीक होंगे भी या नहीं। इंप्रूवमेंट के चांस कितने हैं, बताना मुश्किल है। ओवरआल स्थिति खराब है। कोरोना में मुश्किल यही है कि एक बार वेंटिलेटर पर जाने से वापसी मुश्किल है। किडनी एकदम, बिल्कुल भी पेशाब नहीं बना रही है। इंफ्केशन बहुत है। आपको काउंट तो नहीं बता सकता, बता भी दूं तो आपके किसी काम का नहीं, लेकिन बहुत ज्यादा है। वेंटिलेटर से वापसी को लेकर कहना मुश्किल है कि वापसी होगी भी या नहीं। मोटी मोटी राय यही है ठीक होना मुश्किल है। किडनी का कल देखते हैं क्या रहता है। कोविड टेस्ट हो गया है- सुबह तक रिपोर्ट हो जाएगी।”- एम्स
