Journalist Tarun commits suicide at AIIMS by jumping from 4th floor

The life threatening Covid 19 pandemic is taking one life after another making the life of one and all extremely insecure.   Everyone is losing his or her near n dear ones after every passing day and the social media is full of these tragic news day in and day out. The senior citizens n those suffering from heart, lungs n diabetic related diseases are the most vulnerable ones. Not only the dreaded n deadly pandemic but the loneliness and confinement within four walls leading to unemployment n financial crisis, especially those serving in insecure private jobs compounded with little or no chances of admissions in hospitals n fear of inflating hospital bills have literally made peoples’ life a hell.

In addition to thousands of Covid 19 fatalities in various parts of the country n in Delhi as well, there have been several cases of suicides due to increasing frustration n psychological breakups.

While the country has left behind Russia taking a third position in the world after crossing 7 lakh cases of Covid 19 infections with more than twenty thousand tragic deaths, the capital of the country, NCT of Delhi has crossed one lakh numbers of Covid 19 infections with more than three thousand fatalities.

Just today a shocking news of  suicide at AIIMS by a 38 year old journalist of Dainik Bhaskar Newspaper was reported who was allegedly asked to resign by his newspaper manahement.

A Covid 19 patient Tarun Sisodia who was admitted in All India Institute of Medical Sciences undergoing treatment committed suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of AIIMS today.

As per the social media posts enthusiastic  Tarun Sisodia covering the education beat suffering from Covid 19 was shifted to ICU after his health deteriorated. While under treatment  journalist Tarun Sisodia was also detected of cancer beyond his expectation probably disturbing his state of mind finally leading to committing this grave suicide.

After having been admitted in the ICU he was shifted back to the ward. As per journalist Gunanand Jakhmola’s post Tarun had certain complaints against the mismanagement in AIIMS and the authorities snatched his mobile phone fearing the exposure. Nor was the late Journalist’s family allowed to meet him as he was a Covid 19 case.

According to Tarun’s friends while they have lost a sharp n dedicated journalist an impartial inquiry should be ordered  to bring the facts behind this suicide to the fore.

This tragic suicide reminds about Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput n his secretary’s suicidal death in Mumbai one by hanging n another by falling from the 14th floor of her apartment. Sushant was under depression n on medication.

The social media is agog of this terrible news of a journalist constrained to take this grave decision of suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of AIIMS. The journalistic fraternity is shocked to hear this tragic news.
