NSA Ajit Doval talks to Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi on the present Indo China border impasse

National Security Advisor of India Ajit Doval and the Chinese foreign minister and state councillor Wang Yi had finally agreed to arrive at consensus to resolve the dispute at the Line of Actual Control at various locations at Petrol Point 15, PP 14 and 8 by way of continuing the diplomatic peace efforts at the political level and simultaneously continue the ongoing talks at the Lt. General levels between both the countries.

After the disengagement of military troops by the Chinese about one kilometre backwards n similarly from the Indian side as well if any, finalised on 30th June at the Commander level meetings and the prime minister Narendra Modi’s sudden visit to Nimu n Leh Ladakh in order to boost the morale of Indian Army soldiers n also to sent across the message that India can’t be bogged down by expansionist Chinese anymore and that it will relentlessly counter every deceitful Chinese misadventure tooth n nail compelling it to bite the dust, come what may – has been taken very seriously and with high spirits by our countrymen.

After the martydom of 20 brave hearts of Indian Army at Galwan Valley on the night of June 15th and expansionist China’s arbitrary aggression on Indian territories at Pangong Tso, Galwan Valley, hot springs etc and subsequent multiple build up of arms, ammunitions n thousands of PLA soldiers n officers the situation has really gone awry compelling the prime minister Modi visit Nimu, 45 kilometres away from LAC, meeting the hospitalised soldiers, addressing them and boosting their morale including being harsh towards China sending message across the globe about expansionist dragons illegally n arbitrarily eying n capturing Indian territories violating all the previous establish protocols n  peace agreements etc.

According to the press release issued by the union external affairs ministry , the national security advisor Ajit Doval held a telephonic vedio conversation with the Chinese  foreign minister Wang Yi on Sunday regarding resolving the present Western sector border impasse between both the Asian giants.

According to the ministry of external affairs these frank n in depth exchange of views between NSA Doval and Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi dwelt on maintaining peace n tranquility in border areas,  avoiding differences to turn into disputes. Both the representatives mutually agreed for total de escalation and de engagement of troops from border areas in order to establish peace n tranquility.

NSA Doval and Wang Yi also agreed to expedite the process of developing escalation of troops from both the sides along the Line of Actual Control.

The two sides also agreed for a phased wise n step wise with drawal of troops from both the sides.

NSA  Ajit Doval and Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi reaffirmed that both the sides  should strictly respect and observe the line of Actual Control and should not take any unilateral action to alter the status quo and work together to avoid any incident in the future that could disturb peace n tranquility in border areas.

Showing keen interest to ease growing  tensions between both the nations that witness martyrdom of twenty Indian brave hearts killing 40 Chinese soldiers in Galwan Valley clashes, both Ajit Doval n Wang Yi agreed that the diplomatic and military officials of the two sides should continue their discussions, including under the frame work of the Working Mechanism for Consultation and Coordination on India China border affair n implement the understandings reached in a timely manner to achieve  the aforesaid outcomes.

According to the external affairs press release it was also agreed that on diplomatic front both NSA Doval n foreign minister of China  Wang Yi will continue their conversations to ensure full n enduring restoration of peace n tranquility in the India China border areas in accordance with the bilateral agreements and protocols.
