While I write here, my heart pains to acquaint that the eminent Hindi poet, author, prestigious Sahitya Academy award recipient n editor of Jansatta n Rashtriya Sahara 72 year old Manglesh Dabral has been shifted to AIl India Institute of Medical Science and is on ventilator in critical condition for the last week except, slightly improving.

According to her daughter Alma Dabral who is taking care of her father in these troubled times, day and night, fighting against all odds alongwith her cousin Pramod Kanswal, the doctors monitoring his deteriorating health has revealed that nothing could be said till he comes out of the critical stage.

This is extremely worrisome with the request to one n all to pray for his Speedy recovery. The acute lungs infection after pneumonia due to Covid 19 has worsened the health of Manglesh Dabral who was admitted in the ICU of a private hospital “Le Crest” in Sector 4 Vasundhara, about a week ago but his condition worsened further despite best care of the doctors concerned.

He was shifted to AIIMS and is on ventilator being monitored closely. The lungs infection due to Covid 19 has lead to further complications said Alma. In a message sent to me Alma wrote : Namaste uncle, he is on ventilator now. Doctors are saying it will take some days before they can say anything.

He is on AIIMS ventilator.
