Delhi’s deputy CM Sisodia reaching Dehradun to debate on Trivendra Model vs Kejrival model with BJP Uttrakhand Minister Madan Kaushik

A war of words between the Aam Admi Party and the Bhartiya Janata Party on the lines of confrontation in Delhi has commenced in Uttarakhand with the Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia who is also the minister of education in the national territory of Delhi, visiting Dehradun on 4 th January to debate with the parliament affairs n urban development minister of Uttarakhand Madan Kaushik on issues pertaining to the claims of outstanding achievements of BJP government in Uttarakhand in about more than hundred projects of the hilly state during its last four year old tenure in order to compete with the AAP’s Delhi government’s claims of reforming n developing government schools exceptionally including bringing revolutionary reforms in electricity, ( power) drinking water and health sector of Delhi during its six year old tenure. Madan Kaushik was responding to the challenge of Delhi’s deputy CM to BJP government of Uttrakhand to come and debate on Kejrival development model of Delhi and replicate the same in Uttarakhand asking the BJP govt to just mention about its five developmental achievements in the state.

It may be recalled that the deputy chief minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia had visited Uttarakhand few weeks ago on a political tour and had received umpteen complaints from the inhabitants of the hilly state about the prevailing BJP government with regard to the grievances pertaining to poor status of employment, hospitals, health and education sector in the state leading to increasing exodus to cities for want of jobs, better health and educational facilities etc having been betrayed by the BJP n Congress governments during the last two decades of their successive governments ruling the hilly state.

While challenging the BJP led government of Uttarakhand about the degenerating health, education sector of Uttarakhand including increasing unemployment problem of the state, the deputy CM Manish Sisodia has asked the Uttarakhand CM or its ministers to debate with him on an open platform to transparently prove their mettle about their constructive achievements in education, health n other sectors like electricity n water etc during its last four year tenure, in comparison to the outstanding achievements of the AAP government in Delhi , being highly lauded and appreciated by the electorates of Uttarakhand.

The Aam Admi Party n its national convenor and Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival had already announced that his party will contest on all the 70 assembly seats of Uttarakhand in 2022 and the party cadre and Uttarakhand’s AAP leaders are leaving no stone unturned to organise the party set up at the grass root level of Uttarakhand with local leaders of Congress n BJP allegedly joining it.

The parliamentary affairs n urban development minister in the Uttarakhand government Madan Kaushik has in response to the AAP’s deputy CM Manish Sisodia’s challenge has responded in the media that he is fully prepared to face any challenge of AAP as the BJP government in Uttarakhand has done tremendous works in Uttarakhand even in more than hundred projects.

He said that he can even come to Delhi to face his challenge said Madan Kaushik.

About two weeks ago the BJP ministers had tried to downgrade the deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia’s claims of improving the status of Delhi schools claiming that its government schools have been fully modernised who’s students have brought 98% results. The BJP leaders had posted some pictures of Delhi schools trying to challenge the deputy CM’s claims, exhibiting pictures of some Delhi govt schools in extremely bad shape.

However, the Delhi deputy CM Manish Sisodia had in a press conference unambiguously contradicted the tweets of Uttarakhand BJP leaders by contradicting posted pictures n tweets of certain schools in bad shape clarifying with evidence that not only the pictures were wrongly posted n doctored showing them as old pictures, he ( Manish Sisodia) exhibited the current pictures of modernised/ renovated schools contradicting their tweets.

Meanwhile the Delhi deputy CM Manish Sisodia has on 31st December written a one and a half page letter to the minister of Uttarakhand Madan Kaushik accepting his call for debate saying that he is coming to Dehradun on 4 th January at IRDT Auditorium in order to openly discuss on Trivendra Rawat model of development vs Kejrival development model of Delhi.

In a detailed letter sent to Uttarakhand BJP government’s minister Madan Kaushik Delhi’s deputy CM Manish Sisodia wrote : I am happy to learn that you are ready for an open debate on the various people welfare works done by Trivendra Singh government with regard to education, health, water, employment, women security etc. During my interactions with the general inhabitants of Uttarakhand in my various programmes I have come across repeated complaints that the chief minister Trivendra Rawat and his government has not done any fruitful work during their tenure of last four years. People now identify him as a ZERO WORK CM. ON 20 TH DECEMBER after I challenged your government to figure out mere five works done by your government in a press conference, you had said that you can give me the explanation about one hundred achievements of your government n even more.

I am happy to learn that you are prepared to discuss on Trivendra Model vs Kejrival model on education, health, employment, water and electricity, in Delhi or Uttarakhand. This would be indeed a wonderful opportunity for the people of Uttarakhand to watch their elected government n its leaders publicly discussing on water, electricity, education, health n employment problems. The people of Uttarakhand have been curiously waiting for the last twenty years to see their leaders discussing issues connected with their lives.

I am coming to Dehradun on 4 th of January at IRDT Auditorium to discuss with on on these most pivotal issues of peoples’ significance i.e. on Trivendra Rawat model vs Arvind Kejrival model wrote Manish Sisodia. He further added that after the debate in Dehradun on 4 th January, as per your commitment that you are also ready to come to Delhi, I honourably invite you to come to Delhi on 6 th January where I will with due respect take you to various schools, hospitals of Delhi including making you aware of the outstanding achievements of Delhi government in water, electricity sectors compounded with women safety achievements and economic progress etc.

Hope you will kindly stick to your commitments and after discussing with me on 4 th January in Dehradun on these burning issues, accompany me to Delhi on 6 th January added Delhi deputy CM Sisodia in the letter addressed to Madan Kaushik.
