Delhi CM sends previous 3 files to LG recommending opening of hotels, gyms n weekly markets in Delhi

The Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejrival has sent the files of three unlockdown proposals that were abruptly turned down by the Delhi’s lieutenant governor of national capital territory of Delhi Anil Baijal last week pertaining to the opening of the hotels, weekly bazaars on all seven days in various localities and the Gyms.

These files have been sent with the request to given his official consent to reopen them with immediate effect. Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival has said that when hotels, weekly bazaars, gym etc have been opened in other states of the country despite these states having large number of cases of Covid 19 then why are these three not being allowed to open in Delhi Inspite of the capital having merely ten thousand active cases n daily infections having come down dramatically.

Last week the Delhi LG Anil Baijal had turned down the Delhi government’s proposal to open these three viz Gym, hotels n weekly bazaars on the ground that opening of these services may amount to surge in cases due to the density of people coming in contact with each other and frequent movement of customers in weekly bazaars n hotels etc. It may be recalled that the Delhi government is repeatedly patting it’s back and claiming that the Delhi city has brought down t

he surge in Covid 19 cases to nearly ten percent of the total infections with recovery rate of 90 % taking 9th position amongst other states of the country which was two months on the third pedestal after Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu. This is indeed a laudable achievement. Delhi CM Kejrival says that after countering Covid 19 to a great extent now is the turn of AAP government to revive n revitalise its economy to improve the economic health of the capital.
