Ajay Devgan’s elder brother dies at 51

Renowned Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan’s brother Anil Devgan has expired on Monday midnight. He was 51 years old who’d directed his three Bollywood movies starring Ajay Devgan as Hero.

Anil had directed Ajay Devgan’s two movies, Blackmail n Raju Chacha and was the creative director of his another movie Son of Sardar.

Anil Devgan also worked in some other movies as assistant and creative director viz Jaan, Itihaas, Pyaar to Hona Hi hai, and Son of Sardar respectively , released in 2012 also starring SanjayDutt.

Ajay Devgan has revealed about this heart broken news of his brother’s sad demise through his tweet :

I lost my brother Anil Devgan last night. His untimely death has left our family heart broken. ADFF and I will miss his presence dearly. Pray for his soul. Due to the pandemic, we will not have the personal prayer meet, Devgan tweeted.

However, The actual cause of Anil Devgan’s untimely demise is still unknown.

It may be recalled that Anil Devgan was the elder son of renowned Bollywood stunt director Veeru Devgan with Ajay being the younger son, who had also acted in more than eighty movies.

Our of these eighty movies, Ajay Devgan had acted with his stunt director father Veeru Devgan in Ishq, Jaan, Hakeekat, Dilwale, Divya Shakti, Jigar and Phool aur Kaante. His father died on 27 th May, 2019.

Having acted in more than a hundred films, Ajay Devgan has till now achieved two national awards, four Filmfare awards n coveted Padmasree in 2016 apart from other numerous felicitations.

Just yesterday legendary actor Devanand’s nephew Vishal Anand had breathed his last at the age of 82 after suffering from protracted illness.
