A valiant Subedar of Kumaon regiment martyred in Kupwara, J n K. Tons of Salutations

Uttarakhand seems to be poised to acknowledge the tragic news about the sacrifices of valiant n patriotic young Army troopers in strife torn terrorist infested Jammu and Kashmir since the last few months.

There is yet another shocking and traumatic news about the sad demise of a martyred young trooper of Indian Army belonging to 6 Kumaon regiment namely Yamuna Prasad Paneru of Haldwani Uttarakhand.

A determined and valiant Subedar of Kumaon regiment Yamuna Prasad Paneru was engaged in patrolling during a rescue operation who lost his precious life while trying to save his colleague ( trooper) who had fallen in a gorge during the patrolling duty in the sensitive Kupwara sector.

The chief minister of Uttarakhand Trivendra Singh Rawat has in his brief facebook post and twitter handle expressed his grief and deep condolences over the sacrifice of this young fighter in the line of duty in Jammu n Kashmir while engaged in Kupwara Rescue Operation.

The chief minister Rawat said: he salutes the supreme sacrifice of Subedar Paneru and assured the traumatic n bereaved family that the Uttarakhand government stands with them in full solidarity at the time of the irreperable tragedy.

Martyred Subedar Yamuna Prasad Paneru was also the Everest conqueror in 2012. He hailed from Nainital district’s Haldwani, Okhalkanda block.

It may be recalled that just two days ago a young and dedicated soldier of 8 Garhwal rifles has sacrificed himself alongwith three other brave dare devils in Jammu n Kashmir while fighting the Pak sponsored dreaded terrorists. Till now about 240 terrorists have been killed by Indian Army in Jammu n Kashmir with several of our nrave soldiers n dare devils being martyred. Salutes to the martyred dare devils. Jai Hind.
