A lone celebrity at real work of helping the poor n hapless during lockdown. Sends a man home to perform last rites of his late wife at Varanasi.

The Bollywood actor, Simbha fame and a national celebrity Sonu Sood is still engaged in coming to the rescue of poor and hapless migrants of Maharashtra, Mumbai and other parts of the country as well who are blessing him whole heartedly through letters or by way of sending messages in social media andeven newpapers.

It is believed that till now about 18000 migrants have been ferried to various states from Mumbai, Maharashtra via trains, buses and air services. Those being ferried free of costs include children, women, senior citizens and youngones. Majority of these hapless migrants have become jobless and homeless due to the lockdown of more than 70 days and are insecure too with the fear of getting infected by Covid 19.

Hence they are desperate to reach their respective homes in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Assam, Uttarakhand and Chattisgarh etc.

Just three days ago Sonu Sood airlifted several migrants to Assam via a private airlines from Mumbai to Silchar and last week around 170 persons of Uttarakhand’s various destinations via Mumbai Dehradun flights.

All these migrants were stuck in Mumbai etc for the last several days having lost their jobs becoming homeless desperately wanting to reach their home towns or native villages at the earliest.

Even the chief minister of Uttarakhand Trivendra Singh Rawat has personally thanked him for this philanthropic contribution telephonically. Prior to the Uttarakhand CM, the governor of Maharashtra and former MP n CM Uttarakhand for merely thirteen days Bhagat Singh Koshiyari had also heartily congratulated Sonu Sood for his noble work of helping the poor n needy at a critical time when they are in real distress , hundreds of kilometres away from their families, having become homeless n jobless.

Just a day ago Simbha hero n a celebrity Sonu Sood helped a person alongwith his his two friends reach their house in Varanasi to perform the last rites of his late wife, after he read Nitesh Pandey’s message on his ( Sood’s) twitter handle.

After reading the message Sonu expressed his condolences and assured that all the three would be send to their Varanasi house to perform the last rites.

According to the twitter send by Nitesh Pandey on Sonu’s twitter handle , his friend’s wife has expired in Varanasi and her husband n two of us want to reach there to perform her last rites. Sonu responded : I am sorry for the loss. Will send him home tomorrow. He will reach there soon. God bless.

The journey was arranged for all the three and were able to perform the last rites. Similarly, Sonu Sood is helping hundreds of other such people via messages received through social media.

According to sources he and his entire team gets to work at 9.00 AM in the morning and fulfills all the official formalities like getting the medical tests of the passengers done, seeking permission of their being medically non infected by Covid 19 and arranging railway or bus tickets or hiring buses etc.

They are then ferried to their respective homes in various states. There are numerous messages and tweets of good wishes, blessings and congratulations in his twitter account, facebook n whatsapp. Even women in distress n children of the families helped and safely transported to their respective homes are sending recorded visual messages terming him as a messanger of God, having helped them at a time when they were in extreme distress having become homeless, jobless and in financial jeopardy. Sonu is getting messages for help even till today and is ably helping one and all by doing the needful without fail.

It is surprising and rather appalling that no body from Bollywood came to the rescue of these hundreds n thousands of migrants despite tall talks n assurances to help the poor n needy but Sonu Sood kept his dedication going on even till today. Salutes.
