Yeoman service in Uttarakhand

While on the one hand pandemic Covid 19 is still continuing with the vaccines being innoculated nationally with farmers agitation n yesterday’s riotous situation witnessed in the national capital there are certain philanthropic organisations and their representatives who are silently busy in helping people in distress by their yeoman social service even in the interiors of Uttarakhand after incessantly distributing ration kits, medicines, masks, PPE kits, stationeries, books, sanitary pads, sanitizers, and clothes to the people of the lowest echelons of the society during pandemic lockdown till today intermittently.

A social welfare organisation wedded to serving the poor n hapless n economically deprived sections of the society including launching of several medical camps in Uttarakhand n elsewhere namely Mahavir International under the leadership of V.N. Sharma, former PF Commissioner n president MI, is these days in Salt n Nainidaanda blocks of Uttarakhand distributing blankets, jackets, infrared thermometres, warm socks and oximeters etc.

According to VN Sharma, a selfless philanthropist having till date served ration kits n clothes, medicines etc to more than 1.5 lakh people in various JJ clusters and lower middle society inhabitants, the Mahavir International has on 24 th n 25th January distributed six hundred blankets out of 3000 blankets to the principals of Garhwal’s Nainidaanda and Salt block of Almora to be given to the students and lower catagory staff of the inter colleges with poor financial backgrounds including labourers, employees of Dhaabas, helpless students and daily wage earners.

In addition to this the Mahavir International distributed 36 jackets, seven infrared thermometres, more than hundred socks and other material to the needy sponsored by Veera Vision division n director of Delhi range. Mahavir International also dilivered 750 sanitary pads given to them by the national backward classes financial development Commission.

It also distributed about environment friendly 1200 N 95 without valve masks to corona warriors of Uttarakhand sponsored by Manav Sewa Samittee.
