Uttarakhand CM contributes Rs 75 lakhs in Police Martyrdom Fund n enhancement in Police Uniform Allowance

The chief minister of Uttarakhand Trivendra Singh Rawat has paid his richest tributes to the the valiant dare devils, the policemen who’d laid down their lives in the line of duty, today while commemorating the ” Police Memorial/ MARTYRDOM Day” ( POLICE SMRITI DIWAS) in Police lines Dehradun.

It may be recalled that about sixty one years ago in 1959 a small group of valiant Indian police force have sacrificed their lives to protect the honour of our country in Ladakh. Since then 21st October is commemorated as the POLICE MARTYRDOM DAY IN VARIOUS PARTS OF India, remembering the invaluable services and supreme sacrifices of these dare devils for the country made in different nook n corners of the nation.

The chief minister of Uttarakhand Trivendra Singh Rawat while lauding the supreme sacrifice of our valiant soldiers in the service of the nation announced the enhancement of Rs. One thousand uniform allownace to the sub inspector rank officers of Uttarakhand police. He also assured of Rs one lakh financial support to the dependents of the martyred policemen as his government’s token of help.

In addition to this, he also announced the contribution of Rs 75 lakhs in the Martyrs Police Fund for their families’ all round welfare n wellbeing.

Uttarakhand CM Rawat lauded the untiring significant efforts of of the police force terming them as the front line warriors during the dreaded n critical Corona phase and extended his deepest condolences n heartfelt tributes to the bereaved families n the valiant fighters sacrificing their precious lives while rendering their unstinted services as relentless fighters during this pandemic phase.

The chief minister also handed over the financial assistance to some of the bereaved family dependents of the martyrs on this day.
