Uttarakhand CM congratulates n thanks Sonu Sood telephonically

The Uttarakhand chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat today congratulated and thanked the bollywood star Sonu Sood for his generosity, help and all kind of support and assistence in airlifting migrants ( Uttarakhandies) from Mumbai to Rishikesh, Dehradun bearing their hefty fares during the pandemic lockdown who were in great problems n hardships. The chief minister has personally phoned Sonu Sood to express his gratefulness and gratitude for this noble work and assured him of his n the governments fullest support in the future.

The chief minister revealed that Sonu Sood expressed his hearty desire and wish to shoot his films in Uttarakhand as he is highly impressed by the serene natural beauty of Uttarakhand and its pleasent weather. The chief minister Rawat invited Bollywood actor to visit Dehradun in the near future to which the actor responded in affirmation wrote the chief minister in his FB post as well. Rawat also extended his thanks n gratefulness to other social organisations of Uttarakhand in Mumbai, NGOs, religious organisations and pravasi Uttarakhandies in various states of the country who had helped the migrants reached their native destinations during the pandemic lockdown of the last 70 days.

The chief minister thanked Sonu Sood and all the social organisations from the core of his heart for helping the distressed migrants of various states who were in lurch n financial quandary. Earlier the Uttarakhand Assembly speaker Prem Aggrawal also thanked Sonu Sood for his outstanding contribution to ferry Uttarakhand people from Mumbai to Dehradun. It may be recalled that actor Sonu Sood has so far helped 1000 migrants reach their homes in Bihar n UP n Karnataka by trains and about 250 by air bearing their air fare n other transport expenses. He also ferried the migrants via buses and arranged for their meals etc. for days together. His mission is still on. About 170 Uttarakhandies have been airlifted from Mumbai reveal latest news.

  1. Yeah ! Sonu Sood has expressed his desire to try out some relishing local meals of Uttarakhand ( some type of roti/ chapati and a Uttarakhandi dal ) …..sorry i forgot the name of the local food.
    Hope he has a memorable visit whenever he goes
