Two farmers bill passed with a voice vote

Despite huge opposition by the Congress n other non BJP opposition parties terming the farmers bills as against the interests of farmers, two bills have been passed today amid acrimonious scenes n members coming in the well of the house protesting amid ruskus, in the Rajya Sabha .

The Farmers and Produce Trade and Commerce ( Promotion and facilitation) Bill 2020 and Agreement on Price Assurance n Farm Services Bill 2020 were cleared with a voice vote amidst pandamonium, acrimonious scenes including members of the opposition surrounding well of the house. Just four hours ago from now the national convenor of AAP had appealed to the non BJP opposition party MPs to exhibit their United strength and defeat the bill but all in vain.
