Richest floral tributes paid to India’s 1st president Dr. Rajendra Prasad

The Rajendra Chintan Samittee today paid its richest floral tributes to the first president of India Dr. Rajendra Prasad in New Delhi on his 136 th anniversary today. The chairman of the New Delhi Municipal Council, IAS Dharmendra Kumar paid his richest tributes be lightening the lamp. Addressing the August gathering, NDMC Chairman Dharmendra Kumar lauded the immense contribution of the first president of Indian Republic Dr. Rajendra Prasad in the nation’s independent struggle alongwith father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi, first prime minister Jawahar Lal Nehru n union home minister Sardar Patel.

The secretary of NDMC Brij Mohan Mishra while paying his tributes said that Dr. Rajendra Prasad was the symbol of modesty and principles setting the highest standards of morality and ethics. We should follow his ideals and principles to pay the real n true tributes to our first president.

Rajendra Chintan Samittee’s convenor Ram Krishna Sharma while giving a detailed account of our first president’s contribution to the nation’s struggle to seek independence from colonial Britishers said that he was a great freedom fighter and a nationalist.

He played an extremely significant role in framing our constitution. He added that Dr. Rajendra Prasad had through his sacrifice, accorded political prestige to his tenacious life. The Vice President of Manch Sanchalan Chintan Samittee n editor of Rashtra Times Weekly Vijay Shankar Chaturvedi said that Dr. Rajendra Prasad had since the days of independence struggle pledged to serve the nation and continued to fulfil that objective throughout his life with utmost dedication n commitment.

The ISCKON Temple on this occasion honoured every participant with the presentation of pious Geeta. Others who paid their floral tributes to the statue of Dr. Rajendra Prasad were: Convenor of Rajendra Chintan Samittee Pankaj Sharma, Pulkit Chaturvedi, advocate Shyam Sunder Gupta, Manoj Sharma and several others.
