Rhea’s brother Showik n SSR’s manager Samuel arrested, first arrests in SSR case
The Narcotics Control Bureau has arrested Rhea’s brother Showik Chakraborty and SSR’s manager Samuel Miranda today after nine hours of thorough investigations at the Mumbai’s DRDO guest house under NDPS act. They have been arrested under the sections 8 C, 28 and 29 of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
This is the first arrest in Sushant Singh Rajput’s mysterious suicidal death case which is being investigated by three agencies viz CBI, ED n the NCB. The arrests of Showik and Samuel Miranda have been made today after the NCB found them directly involved in drugs deal with the drug peddlers of Mumbai as a sequel to interrogation of two drug peddlers Basit Pariyar n Sohail including the chats in their respective mobile phones.
According to the media reports Showik n Samuel Miranda have allegedly agreed to have been directly involved in the drug deals on the instruction of Rhea Chakraborty bought for SSR. Not only this but the drug peddlers arrested had also given statement to NCB about both of them allegedly buying the drugs from them since the last two years.
After finding definite clues n evidences the NCB has arrested both of them. According the the deputy director of NCB Mr. Malhotra the information regarding their arrests have been given to the family members of both Showik n Samuel and will be produced in the Court tomorrow morning.
Meanwhile the NCB has also called Deepesh in their office for interrogation and Rhea Chakraborthy issued notice to appear for investigation on Saturday.
There are speculation of the possible arrests of Rhea too, in the near future, in view of the revelations by Showik n Samuel to NCB that they used to buy drugs on the instructions of Rhea for SSR.
After these two arrests by NCB in SSR mysterious suicide case related to drugs angle the CBI has not found anything pertaining to the alleged murder of the actor.
However, the chats pertaining to adding of four drops of a drug in SSR’s tea every day, do connect the drug angle amounting to bringing him into depression and subsequent abetment to suicide etc reveal news reports.
MEANWHILE according to NCB there is a possibility of big sharks dealing in drugs supply in Bollywood on a wide scale coming into focus likely to open a Pandora’s box after the four arrests viz two drug peddlers Basit, Sohail n Showik, Samuel.
While the CBI n NCB including ED have jointly resolved the SSR case to some extent, at least arresting four in connection with the drugs angle with investigations still in progress in just a week’s time , the Mumbai police could not even after 45 days reach to any definite conclusion annoying SSR’s family n millions of fans.
