Amidst the deadly virus, a Chattisgarh couple is blessed with a pair of twins. The children took birth on the intervening night of March 26-27, in the constraint of complete lockdown. Their parents have named them as “Corona” and “Covid” since they came in the world in the middle of the hardships and struggles that the entire earth is facing.
Mother, Preeti Verma, has stated that they may change the names in the future if needed. She said that the birth of the two souls was very challenging for her and her husband. The new twins were born in Dr. BR Ambedkar Memorial Hospital, and the kids are in good health. The parents are happy with the services offered by doctors and nurses. The cesarean section was successfully operated within 45 minutes of their arrival. This Raipur couple had been blessed with another daughter two years back.
Covid (boy) and Corona (girl) had become the talk of the town due to their unique names. Now the family is taking care of hygiene and is inculcating other good habits due to the pandemic attack. The couple is natively from Uttar Pradesh and lives in a rented house in Purani Basti of Raipur city, the capital of Chattisgarh.
