The condition of former president of India Pranab Mukherjee has worsened He is in critical condition and still on ventilator since yesterday ( Monday) after he was operated in the Army Referral and Research Hospital, Delhi for a clot in his brain. He was also detected positive for Covid 19. According to the health bulletin of Army Research and Referral Hospital today the condition of former president has not improved since yesterday after the surgery for removing the clot from his brain and his condition is reported to be still critical.
Her daughter Congress leader Shashmita is with her father in the hospital who was living with her father at the Rajaji Marg residence after shifting from Rashtrapati Bhawan. Pranab Mukherjee had been India’s president from 2012 to 2017 and had been union minister from former prime minister Indira Gandhi’s era till Dr. Manmohan Singh’s tenure as PM who ruled till 2012.
Pranab Mukherjee is 84 years old and was admitted in Army hospital yesterday after he fell down at his house due to clotting in his brain which was detected after CT scan in the hospital while also detected positive for Covid 19. He was immediately operated to remove the clot in the brain. After being detected positive Pranab Mukherjee tweeted to inform about his being detected positive for Covid 19 asking those who met him recently to self isolate themselves and also get tested for Covid 19.
