Entire Urdu Shayari n Hindi poet fraternity in grief. Eminent poet prof. Rahat Indori Sahib is no more.

Eminent Urdu poet and celebrated Shayar Rahat Indori Sahib is no more. He breathed his last in a hospital at Indore, Madhya Pradesh after three consecutive heart attacks, though was also detected positive for dreaded Covid 19. The entire intellectual community, especially hindi n Urdu poets and his millions of lovers who adored his passionate poetries of Urdu in particular, are shocked to learn about his untimely sad demise at the age of 70.

In this era of dreaded Covid 19 lots of near n dear ones’ are shokingly departing unexpectedly to eternal homes one after another especially the ones’ who rule in infinite hearts n minds by their outstanding contributions as celebrated Urdu poet Rahat Indori Sahab was, leaving huge void in the world of Shayari.

Already suffering from diabeties, hypertension and heart ailment Rahat Indori was a former Urdu professor and a lyricist as well who authored several Bollywood songs apart from being an extremely popular Urdu Shayar having attended hundreds of thousands of Mushairaas all over India n even abroad enthralling his infinite audience since decades.

Admitted in Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences in Indore at the age of seventy after suffering frim cardiac arrest he was also detected positive for Covid 19. After the three consecutive cardia strokes he breathed his last on Tuesday in the Indore hospital sending shock waves across the country including at Indore n Madhya Pradesh.

Latest news reports say that Rahat Indori had fifty percent lung infection with acute pnneumonia, which may be the main reason for cardiac arrests. The entire nation is shocked n anguished to learn about this anguishing news of Rahat Indori’s untimly demise. May his soul rest in peace.
