Police claim: hardened criminal n murderer Dubey killed in retaliatory action

The hardened criminal and gangster Vikas Dubey responsible for several brutal killings including the recent murder of eight policemen in Kanpur has been allegedly killed in an encounter today morning claimed as retaliatory action by the Uttar Pradesh police.

Carrying an award of Rs five lakhs over his head, gangster Vikas Dubey who was absconding since 3rd July after committing murder of eight policemen including a CO at his village in Kanpur, was caught at Ujjain yesterday where he had clandestinely gone from Faridabad via Rajasthan in a car to have obiesance of Lord Mahakal. Two advocates of Ujjain who had connived n helped Dubey had already been arrested yesterday.

Highly connected with political leaders n senior bureaucrats of Uttar Pradesh, Vikas Dubey was being taken from Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh to Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh where several cases including that of murders of eight policemen n other obnoxious acts were registered against him under various sections.

He was killed in an encounter on the way near Kanpur when the vehicle this hardened criminal was being ferried in, got overturned leading to Vikas Dubey snatching rifles from the police and firing on them. The police had no option but to kill him instantly retaliating in self defence said the news reports. Several policemen were also injured in this accident n cross firing.

Meanwhile while majority of the people are lauding the police action killing a hardened criminal n murderer Vikas Dubey, the former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh and Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav allegedly see’s a foul play in this encounter. He tweeted ridiculing the encounter saying that the vehicle didn’t took acrobatics but those connected have been given a sigh of relief.

The tweet is in Hindi. There are different versions of political party leaders, media men and people from cross section of the society. While some are highly lauding the encounter killing as a retaliatory action of the police terming it as utmostly necessary some say that it was allegedly a stage managed encounter in order to avoid opening of the Pandora’s box regarding high connections of the murderer Vikas Dubey with political high ups etc who had more than sixty cases over his head related to murders, extortion, kidnappings n threat of dire consequences etc.

It may be recalled that chief minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath who had taken a pledge to free Uttar Pradesh of Crimes, criminals n murdurers including execution of encounter killings of several hardened criminals n history sheetors after he assumed office as Uttar Pradesh CM has already given a free hand to the UP police in Vikas Dubey’s case.

After being caught in Ujjain the Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shiv Raj Singh had also lauded the efforts of Madhya Pradesh police to capture this dreaded killer.

Though this retaliatory encounter killing of Vikas Dubey has given tremendous relief to his enemies n the peace loving people of Kanpur n UP, it has allegedly also opened a scope for opposition leaders like SP chief Akhilesh Yadav to criticize Yogi Aditya Nath tooth n nail for allegedly getting a hardened criminal n murderer Dubey with high connections killed in order to avoid opening of the lid of political and bureaucratic connivance to this most wanted criminal who was operating since the last two decades and roaming Scot Free committing serious acts of murders, extortion, threats with dire consequences etc.

He had also killed a state minister rank politician n 8 policemen apart from several other clandestine murders say news reports.
