Prominent music composer Wajid Khan dies at 42

In just a month, Bollywood has lost three prominent stars of Indian film industry viz Rishi Kapoor, Irfan Khan and Wajid Khan.

Renowned film music composer, singer n lyricist Wajid Khan breathed his last today after being infected with Covid 19 desease after undergoing a kidney transplant earlier. He was on dialysis.

Wajid was only 42 years old. His brother Sajid is also a musician and the Sajid Wajid pair ( combination) was quite renowned in Bollywood.

Starting his career as music composer in Bollywood in 1998 both Wajid Sajid brothers got a break after Salman Khan asked them to give music to his films n songs. Sajid Wajid Jodi composed good number of songs and played music in Salman Khan movies viz Pyar kiya to darna kya, Hello brothers, Chori Chori, Tere naam, Wanted Partner, Dabang 1, 2,3, Ek tha tiger, Garv, Veer, God Tussi Great ho, etc. Wajid also gave his mesmerising music to the album of eminent singer Sonu Nigam.

The Sajid Wajid popular music composer’s combination in Bollywood has got a huge setback after the sad demise of Wajid Khan. The tragic news about the sad demise was disclosed by Sonu Nigam on his instagram posting his picture with Sajid Wahid with a caption ” My brother Wajid left us ” . The entire Bollywood is shocked after hearing about the unexpected sad demise of Wajid Khan. Hailing from Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh Wajid Khan was the son of Sharafat Hussain Khan a veteran Tabla player. The passing away of Wajid Khan has left a huge void in Bollywood music industry difficult to be filled say majority of the actors n his well wishers.
