Panic in Garhwal Uttarakhand after a barrage under construction at Tapovan allegedly breaks reminding of 2013 Kedarnath ecological disaster

There is tremendous panic all around in Garhwal Uttarakhand reminiscent of the June 2013 ecological disaster of Kedarnath when a Gandhi Sarovar lake bursted due to massive clouds collision n excessive rains. There is a sensitive news of alleged breaking of a dam in Tapovan near Joshimath probably due to the melting of huge glaciers etc with no loss of lives or damage of properties till yet.

As per the latest news n vedios being circulated in social media by the inhabitants of the area, this massive n powerful flow of gushing high velocity floods like water in Dhauli Ganga with heavy sound have panicked the inhabitants of the local areas with instructions and warning signals to those living on the sides of the river to leave their house as a safety measure in the event of any eventuality.

The district magistrate Swati Bhadoria has reached the site alerting the entire government machinery and the local inhabitants to exercise necessary safeguards especially those living in houses, buildings at the banks or sides of the ferociously gushing high speed river in Chamoli, Karnaprayag, Srinagar etc.

According to a vedio with running commentary by a panicked unknown person shared in the social media the Dhauli Ganga river due to the bursting of a lake or damaging of Dam is flowing ferociously. Since the flow of the gushing river taking along heavy boulders with uncontrollable speed is a sign of high risk all those living on the sides of the river in Chamoli, Karnaprayag, Srinagar etc are requested to leave the area or excercise necessary precautions said the vedio. The garage in Tapovan under construction is reported to have been heavy damaged revealed the vedio. It further says that due to Sunday we are not aware as to how many workers inside the tunnel are safe or unsafe who might be working there.
