NSA to build his new house n guest house in village Gheedi so that he could spend much time in Uttarakhand

The national security advisor Ajit 99 who is considered to be the pride of Uttarakhand by majority of the populace of the hilly state, having reached the top and a close confidante of the current prime minister Narendra Modi, is planning to renovate/ construct his new house in his ancestral village, Gheedi, in Patti Banelsiun, Kot block Pauri Garhwal, so that he could often visit here and preferably devote maximum time. Doval is also getting a guest house built at the temple venue for the convenience of the visitors. Doval has expressed his hearty desire to get the map of his new or renovated house prepared at the earliest so that he could visit here very often obviously in view of the pleasent environment extremely good for health.

His old house of Gheedi is in dilapidated condition as he n his family seldom visited during his service tenure except for offering the prayers to the family diety ( Kuldevi) whom he n the family worship. NSA Ajit Doval and his wife are back to Delhi after paying their three hour visit at Gheedi, worshipping Goddess Balkumari n also interacting with the village people n those of the nearby villages.

Though this single day visit was a close door family affair but it was widely highlighted in the media as visits of VIPs like him never remain a secretive affair. While speaking to the media Doval said that after assuming the office of NSA this is his third visit to Gheedi , the first one being after becoming the NSA of the country. NSA Doval visited his ancestral village on Saturday via Rishikesh to Pauri offering prayers in Rishikesh Parmarth Niketan n participating in Ganga Arti n Jwalpa Devi Temple including interacting with Swamy Chidamand n temple priests etc.

After reaching his village Gheedi he was heartily welcomed by the villagers n presented trophies as a mark of respect.

After offering prayers he interacted with the village head n people requesting him for arranging roads n educational facilities like school building etc for the convenience of the village inhabitants to which the former assured them of all support n cooperation. There was a high profile security arrangement in the village with his gun totting Commandoes around.

The district magistrate and SSP n senior officials also met the NSA. While returning back to Delhi it is believed that Ajit Doval n his wife also participated in the Ganga Arti celebrations in Rishikesh.

This visit of the NSA n his wife was during the pious Navratras’ Navmi day. It may be recalled that Ajit Doval is the fifth NSA of the country. He retired as the Director of Intelligence Bureau after serving in 2004 -5 and had handled good number of challenging secretive spying assignments in Pakistan n in Golden temple as well for several years including the insurgency prone North East years ago.

Masters in Economic seventy five years old Ajit Doval in a retired IPS officer having been bestowed with Kirti Chakra, Police medal n President’s Police Medal.

He was highly instrumental in termination of 15 hijackings including being the main negotiater of hijacked IC 814 in Kandahar in 1994. He had been a very upright IPS officer with a track record of impeccable integrity having handled several highly challenging spying assignments and also as an outstanding officer ably tackling riotous n insurgency situations n operations in the country.

He is regarded an a key instrumental figure in revocation of article 370 in J n Kashmir and eliminating hardcore militants in the insurgency prone Areas of Northeast including killing of 17 insurgents in Burma etc and playing a pivotal role in resolving the Doklam issue including trying hard to resolve the present impasse at the LAC in Ladakh.
