The CBSE board Exams for classes 10th and 12th begin on February 15th with the number of students appearing for the examination going well over 38 lakhs distributed across 7,250 centers. The class 10th exams are currently being conducted across 76 subjects and are expected to wrap up by March 21st while class 12 exams are covering over 115 subjects and are expected to be over by April 5th.

The CBSE board has recently issued a new set of guidelines in which the following information has been conveyed across all examination centers and schools sponsoring the students for their class 10 and 12 examinations.

The use of plastic bags for packaging purposes of the answer booklets is only allowed in the situation when the answer books are dispatched to the concerned regional office via Postal Services after the exams themselves have been conducted. In the scenario that the field answer book parcels are delivered personally with the help of a city coordinator to the regional office, the plastic bags are not to be used.

WhatsApp messaging for any purpose during examination hours is not permissible and no form of communication is to be sent with the purpose of communicating with the CBSE or any other official related to the examinations themselves.

According to the board officials themselves, there are over 38.83 lakh students which are set to be appearing for these examinations which are being conducted across 7,250 centers all over India and in 26 separate countries.

A senior board official stated that CBSE has managed to make some elaborate arrangements. In order to ensure that all important information for the conducting of examinations is communicated to all responsible officials within the examination centers, CBSE has circulated these detailed guidelines to all the stakeholders.

In case students who are appearing for the examinations are undergoing any form of stress, CBSE has proceeded to devise a timetable that is evenly spaced out so that students have sufficient time between exams for preparation and revision of the respective subjects.

According to the information that has been collected from all examination centers, all forms of preparations have been completed by the centers themselves to ensure the smooth conducting of the examinations.

The date sheets that have been prepared, have been created in such a meticulous manner that across all 40000 subject combinations, no student will have two papers on the same date.
