Ram Charan reportedly went to the United States ahead of the Oscar ceremony which is set to begin on March 12th. The reason for his presence there is that his latest blockbuster RRR’s music track Naatu Naatu is a Nominee for the Academy Award for the best song in a motion picture. Prior to this, Ram Charan hinted that he would be dancing 17 times if this song manages to Grab the coveted Oscar award. And in more recent news, social media is ablaze with photographs of the superstar getting off the United States barefoot.
Photos of Ram Charan walking barefoot at Mumbai Airport have spread like wildfire across the internet. The “Dhruva” star has flown off to the United States for the Oscars ceremony ahead of time. Fans have been praising him massively as he was seen walking around without wearing any footwear.
The images in question show Ram Charan adorning an all-Black ensemble of a black kurta and matching pyjama. His fans have uproariously praised him for proudly embracing the roots of the culture he is a part of, however, this isn’t the first time Ram Charan was spotted publicly barefooted.
There have been many speculations on the internet as to why Ram Charan is walking around barefooted, but the actual reason is that he is following Ayyappa Deeksha. Ram Charan has a tendency of following this on an annual basis for 41 to 45 days. This is an observance within the Hindu religion conducted by devotees of Swami Ayyappa before visiting the Sabarimala temple situated in Kerala, so for this duration, Ram Charan will be observed wearing only black clothes and walking around barefoot.
