The Covid 19 cases in Uttarakhand are on rapid surge with its total tally crossing forty thousand numbers .
Meanwhile the senior Congress leader and former cabinet minister Indira Hridayesh has been admitted in Max hospital in Dehradun after being air lifted in Air ambulance.
Her condition is stated to be stable. The Congress MLA Harish Dhami has also been detected with Covid 19 n is under treatment.
Today’s surge in Uttarakhand within the last 24 hours has been tremendous i.e. 2088 cases with the total fatalities reaching to 478. However, what is shocking is : Fourteen Covid patients died in a day.
Out of the total more than 4.25 lakh tests, nearly 37 have been detected positive. The state’s recovery rate has been 67.29% which is 12% less than the national recovery rate of 79%.
In Uttarakhand out of the total cases, about 26973 patients have been cured with total active cases being 12465.
