Main culprit in Hathras case writes to SP pleading innocence saying they’ve been falsely implicated

The alleged main culprit of the tragic incident of Hathras gangrape leading to the subsequent death of the 19 year old girl in Safdarjung hospital, now behind bars, has written a letter to the superintendent of police pleading non guilty saying that he n others have been falsely implicated in the case allegedly accusing the mother and brother of the deceased of beating the girl and falsely naming them as culprits in the crime.

Meanwhile, the police have recovered four blunt weapons ( Hasiya) three kilometres away from the crime scene.

In a handwritten letter by the alleged main culprit Sandeep sent to the Superintendent of police of Hathras, the applicant described the entire incident and said that he has been falsely implicated in the case alongwith three others.

Sandeep revealed that he personally knew the girl and used to converse with her on phone. He also disclosed that the other accused Ravi and Ramu who were closely in touch with my family and are my uncles in relation have also been falsely implicated n arrested on different days.

The main accused Sandeep has written that he was in friendship with the girl n also used to talk to her on phone occasionally. He had gone to meet her on the day of the incident. Her mother n brother were also there but came back to his house as asked by the girl.

He added that he was serving water to the pet animals alongwith his father after returning back home. He blamed the brother and the mother of the girl of thrashing her on the day of the tragedy as they were deadly against their daughter’s relationship with him.

He pleaded innocence saying that he has neither done anything wrong with the girl indignifying her modesty nor had attacked her , requesting for giving them due justice through an impartial investigations in the case. The police has registered cases against all these four culprits under sections 307, 354 IPC n SCST act holding them accused in the alleged gangrape cum murder of the Hathras girl.

Meanwhile, the Special Investigation Team has very minutely commenced its in depth investigation in this case from all angles and is likely to interrogate about forty persons including the family members of the deceased girl n the accused.

While speaking to the reporters of various news channels the family members of the victim n accused are accusing each other of allegedly having hand in the crime. While Bhabhi of the deceased girl in anger says that it would be better if the whole family is given poison n made to sleep when asked by a reporter of the accusation of the main culprit Sandeep that the brother n mother had thrashed the girl , not them.

On the other hand the mother of main culprit Sandeep while blaming the police of wrongly implicating her son in the case said that her son was in the house serving water to the domestic animals on the day of the crime .

There are also allegations of the deceased girl’s brother having allegedly spoken to the main accused Sandeep 104 times on the day of the crime as per News reports.

The UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath had already recommended this case to central government for an impartial CBI enquiry despite the traumatised family of the deceased urging for a judicial enquiry under the jurisdiction of a Supreme Court judge.
