The farmers agitation having entered 64 th day after registration of cases under severe IPC acts by Delhi police with regard to the violence, damage to properties, injuring more than three hundred policemen including IPS officers, insulting the Indian tricolour and arbitrarily unfurling a flag of Nishank Sahib at Red Fort leading to an act of sacrilege of constitution etc , has reportedly gained further momentum at the Ghazipur Delhi border where farmers and activists of several farm organisations are allegedly turning up in large numbers with the large number of paramilitary forces deployed here yesterday evening probably returning back to avoid confrontation with the agitating farmers.

According to the latest news pouring in a massive Panchayat of Kisans was also organised at Mujaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh today with reports of thousands of farmers coming to Ghazipur Delhi border to express their solidarity with the ongoing farmers movement which till yesterday seemed to losing its momentum with few hundred workers left at the venue in the presence of Bhartiya Kisan Union chief Rakesh Singh Tikaith who yesterday evening literally wept in front of media accusing the Uttar Pradesh govt of harrassing them despite the fact that they are staging a peaceful Dharna at Ghazipur having committed no illegal act.

While condemning the violence in Delhi and the act of unfurling a Sikh flag at Red Fort on Republic Day in strongest possible terms the Kisan leader Rakesh Tikait had while crying in front of mediamen had demanded bringing to justice the culprits of the Red fort incident by a Supreme Court judge and denying that no farmers had committed this unconstitutional act. He rather blamed that some outsider anti social elements have been pre strategically infiltered in the tractor rally to defame it.

He had even vowed to give up water till a tanker is brought from his village after the electricity and water connections were allegedly disconnected yesterday evening.

It was reported that Tikaith later on spoke to the Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejrival and requested him to send the water tanker to which Kejrival did the needful by sending water tankers and assuring for all help to the agitating farmers.

However the electricity and water were later restored. The deputy chief minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia today visited the Dharna Sthal vicinity with Delhi govt officials and instructed to send maximum number of tankers of Delhi Jal Board to quench the thirst of Anndaataas as well as the police on duty including assurances of all types of help to the peacefully protesting farmers.

Thousands of people from the village of Rakesh Tikaith , Sisauli and the adjoining villages reached the venue in support of the agitating farmers with water tanker and Matta after watching their Kisan leader Tikaith crying in front of TV reporters yesterday evening in an anguished state complaining about allegedly terrorising the farmers by the UP govt , fighting for revocation of the three contentious agricultural laws democratically.

Meanwhile, the vociferous AAP member of parliament from Rajya Sabha Sanjay Singh today reached Mujaffarnagar mahapanchayat in the presence of thousands of farmers expressing their solidarity with Kisan leaders and the ongoing farmers agitation against the three farm laws and urged them to reach Ghazipur in large numbers to give credible voice to the struggling farmers.

He assured them that AAM ADMI PARTY is standing rock solid with the agitating farmers and its MPs and lawmakers will court arrest with them in support of their demands.

While addressing a mammoth mahapanchayat in Mujaffarnagar in support of farmers leader Rakesh Tikait chief of Bhartiya Kisan Union and the agitating farmers, Sanjay Singh said that he was the one who had outrightly opposed the arbitrary passing of the three Kisan bills in Rajya Sabha and is also ready to face every consequence in support of their demands to revoke these black agricultural bills, even courting arrest n going to jail.

Meanwhile, large number of farmers and sympathisers of Rakesh Tikait had started coming to Ghazipur border since yesterday night especially from Meerut, Baghpat, Bhivani, Haryana and Mujaffarnagar n several other parts of Western Uttar Pradesh. The prominent leader of Western UP and former union minister Ajit Singh and his son, president of Lok Dal have also spoken to Rakesh Tikait n BKU and extended their total support.

In a tweet today RS MP and AAP leader Sanjay Singh wrote : The massive attendance of people in the Mahapanchayat of Mujaffar Nagar has taken an unanimous decision to carry forward the struggle of farmers under the leadership of Naresh Tikaith. Tomorrow they will march to Delhi in batches.

In another tweet Sanjay Singh via AAP tweeted : I have come here with the message of Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival. Entire India will not relent till the black law is not revoked. If farmers are arrested we will also court arrest with them tweeted AAP MP Sanjay Singh.

Deputy CM Manish Sisodia in his tweet blamed the saffron party for disconnecting water n power n internet saying that if farmers stop farming for a single season, survival will become difficult.

Meanwhile the Congress, AAM Admi Party and several opposition parties have boycotted the president’s address in the opening day of the parliament session peacefully protesting holding placards exhibiting “Revoke the Black agricultural laws”.

This morning there had been direct confrontation between the police and the villagers near Singhu border protesting against the agitating farmers accusing them as anti nationals for their anti constitutional act of secrilege by unfurling a flag of Nishank Sahib at Red fort and rampaging public n govt properties injuring several policemen on Republic Day. They wanted the farmers at Singhu border to vacate their Dharna n protest site as according to them they are no more farmers but unscrupulous anti social elements. There was stone throwing on a massive scale, compelling the policemen and paramilitary forces to lathicharge them.
