A serious confrontation between the Delhi police and protesting people who had allegedly come from Narela and Bawana, took place at Singhu border with several policemen and people hurt grievously on Friday.

The SHO of Alipur police station have been allegedly hurt by a sword with the culprit arrested and taken to police station for further interrogation. The severely injured SHO has been admitted to the hospital. The Aaj Tak news report says that the person who allegedly attacked with the sword was from the protesting farmers’ camp.

The head on collision between the protesting farmers and the police resulted in physical confrontation with lathi wielding police thrashing several protestors accused as outsiders by protesting farmers to create trouble in the farmers movement.

The police had to resort to tear gas shellings and lathicharge to control the rampaging mob. The media is asking as to why and how these hooligans belonging to the nearby villages have been allowed initially to enter the police barricades to creat the riotous situation.

As per the tv reporters the local youths numbering approximately hundred to 200 had come to oppose n evict the farmers protesting at Singhu border as according to them it is no more a genuine and transparent movement, badly affecting their businesses and daily life.

There had been stone throwing from both the sides say news report with a person injuring an SHO of Alipur thana with a sword who have been arrested. The physical confrontation between the police and the agitators allegedly claiming themselves against the protesting farmers continued for half an hour.

According to an Aaj Tak reporter these protestors wanted to evict the protesting farmers from Singhu border after a decision taken by the Punchayat of nearby 40 villages claiming the agitating farmers as anti national etc especially after the violence let loose by them on Republic Day.

In the meanwhile in Singhu border Dharma Sthal the farmers are busy doing Bhajans and path in obiesance of Waheguru. Several youths were still at the venue of physical confrontation showing sticks to the farmers as per the news reports raising slogans.

The stones which had been pelted on the police are seen lying at the spot. The situation is still extremely tense as the anti farmer youths holding national flags and sticks are still seen standing n raising sligans.

The stone throwing has again started by these youths on the agitating farmers at 2.45 PM with anti riot police watching them pelting stones as mere spectators says the anchor of Aaj Tak.

Rapid Action Force and Delhi police personnel are vigilantly guarding the venue with number of barricades fitted at the Kisan Dharna Sthal.

The people from the nearby villages holding national flags are again collecting at Singhu border condemning the republic Day incident on strongest words saying that we had fully supported them earlier but now it seems that the real farmers have gone to their respective native places and those sitting on Dharna are allegedly anti nationals who’ve nothing to do with the farmers movement. The situation seems to be still tense with large number of police n paramilitary forces stationed at Singhu border.
