Maha governor Koshiyari speaks to HM Anil Deshmukh on Arnab’s health and security issues
The Bhartiya Janata Party and it’s ministers seem to be worried after the arrest of the editor in chief of Republic TV Arnab Goswami on the charges of abetment to suicide of 2018 pertaining to the suicides of an interior decorator Anvay Naik and his mother leaving behind a suicide note holding Arnab and two other persons for alleged harrasment and not paying their more than five crore rupees with , Rs 83 lakh pending against the scribe pertaining to the work of interior design of his TV news studio.
The union home minister Amit Shah, union minister Javadekar n another minister had tweeted condemning the Maharashtra government of this politically vindictive action terming it as stifling the voice of press freedom etc.
Republic TV editor in chief Arnab Goswami is currently in Talogi jail having been remanded to 14 days judicial custody.
Meanwhile, the Maharashtra Governor and former MP n chief minister of Uttarakhand Bhagat Singh Koshiyari had spoken to the Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh expressing his concern over the security and health of controversial scribe Arnab Goswami asking the home minister to allow his family to personally meet and speak to him.
The Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari had earlier also expressed his concern over the manner of the scribe’s arrest.
According to two tweets issued from the Twitter handle of Maharashtra Governor: Governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari spoke to Maharashtra’s home minister Anil Deshmukh and conveyed to him his concern over the security and health of news anchor and editor-in- chief of Republic media network Arnab Goswami.
In the second tweet it stated : The Governor also asked the home minister to allow the family of Arnab Goswami to see him and to speak to him. The governor had earlier conveyed his concern over the manner of arrest of Arnab Goswami to the home minister said the Governor house tweet.
In another tweet Bhagat Singh Koshiyari extended his greetings on the occassion of the 21 anniversary of the Uttarakhand state Foundation day today. He tweeted : Heartiest congratulations n greetings on the occassion of Uttarakhand Foundation Day.
