Exempted Services during 21 days Lockdown – COVID-19

The pandemic COVD-19 is still not in control and keeps on spreading all across the globe. The number of cases has surged, and it continues to increase ever after the Lockdown in the whole country. The 21 days Lockdown announced in the whole country announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi came with some services which are exempted. Lockdown exempted services makes sure that all of the citizens in the country receive essential supplies. The Government has already executed some major plans regarding the Lockdown.

The Government of India intends to help the whole population of the country by Lockdown exempted services. These services include

  • Vehicles carrying fruits, groceries, and milk.
  • Electricity production.
  • Availability of the internet.
  • Sewerage services and water supply.
  • Bank ATM and services related to finance.
  • Courier and post services.
  • Stock exchange and clearing of the banks.
  • Services related to Petrol, CNG, Diesel, PNG, and LPG.
  • Services related to security.
  • Vehicles carrying the waste and vegetables.

People who have the passes issued by Mamlatdar, TDO, District Magistrate, DDO, Deputy Municipal Commissioner are allowed to visit specific places. The media reporters, cameraman, and their employees are also entitled to get down on the roads for only work-related purposes.

Lockdown exempted services will extensively save the population of India from various crises. Schools, colleges, offices, etc. are restricted to open until April 14. It is also expected that the period of the Lockdown may extend if we fail to get the situation under control.
