Indira Hridayesh appeals to PM Modi and BJP chief Nadda to direct BJP Ukhnd chief Bhagat to seek public apology

The recent derogatory, rude and uncalled for statement indignifying the former cabinet minister and leader of the opposition in Uttarakhand assembly, veteran Congress leader and Haldwani lawmaker Indira Hridayesh by the Uttarakhand state BJP chief n MLA Bansidhar Bhagat has evoked tremendous protests in Uttarakhand with the Congress leader Hridayesh appealing to prime minister Narendra Modi and national party chief JP Nadda to take strict desciplinary action against him and seek apology for this immoral statement amounting to indignifying her and the women community of not only the state but the entire nation.

The outraged women workers and leaders of Congress party in Dehradun on Wednesday burnt efigies of BJP Uttarakhand chief Bansidhar Bhagat raising anti party slogans , demanding action against him and his ouster from the party, as well.

In a vedio posted on her twitter handle Mrs Indira Hridayesh said that she had come to know of the derogatory, rude and uncalled for remarks of BJP chief of Uttarakhand Bansidhar Bhagat against her. These highly derogatory and unethical remarks by a state chief of BJP has amounted to the indignation and insult to every women, mother, sister, daughter and family of Uttarakhand, literally throwing to winds the so called socio cultural values and respect for women by the Bhartiya Janata Party which propagates the so called slogans of Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao ( Protect and educated daughters) etc.

Taking a very serious view of the highly derogatory remarks of Bansi Dhar Bhagat against her amounting to indignifying the women community of the country and the state, veteran Congress leader Indira Hridayesh said that the prime minister Narendra Modi and National BJP chief JP Nadda should immediately take the note of this shameful statement of Bansidhar Bhagat and initiate action against him by asking him to seek due public apology for the deliberate blunder committed by him.

In her tweets Mrs. Indira Hriyadesh wrote : Through social media, I have come to know of the uncalled for thinking of the president of Uttarakhand BJP Bansidhar Bhagat. His speech in BJP’s Bhimtal meeting using derogatory remarks for a woman elder to him (me) , unambiguously speaks of his squeezed, narrow and uncalled for bent of mind. Such an unparliamentary language dosen’t behove well for any politician. She added: Bansidharji, it seems that you haven’t ever gone through pious Ramcharitra Manas, otherwise you wouldn’t have used such derogatory remarks for a woman tweeted Hridayesh in Hindi.

It may be recalled that the state chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has sought apology from Indira Hridayesh on Wednesday and had also said that he will again seek apology personally by speaking to her either in person or telephonically.
