Hundreds of Youth Congress court activists court arrest demanding repeal of 3 farm laws and enactment of a new law on MSP

Several hundred youth Congress activists under the leadership of its national president B. V. Srinivas have today registered their strongest protests by demonstrating at Raisina Road, New Delhi demanding the immediate withdrawal of the three agricultural laws, enactment of a new law on MSP and resolution of the farmers crisis forthwith.

They later on courted arrests and were ferried to the parliament station police station for violating prohibitory orders etc. Raising slogans against the union government led by prime minister Narendra Modi, terming the three agricultural laws as ANTI FARMERS PRO CAPITALISTS BLACK LAWS, the youth Congress activists n office bearers having come from different state units were holding placards mentioning ” KISAN JAB TAK PARESHAN RAHEGA DHARTI PARR TUFAAN RAHEGA, ( TILL THE TIME FARMERS WILL BE IN PROBLEMS THE EARTH WILL BE THUNDERSTORM ORIENTED”, JAI JAWAN JAI KISAN, ( HAIL SOLDIERS HAIL FARMERS) BHAJAPA SARKAAR MURDABAD ( DOWN WITH BJP GOVERNMENT) and ANNDAATAA APNA HAQ MAANGTE, NAHI KISISE BHEEKH MAANGTE. ( THE FARMERS ARE DEMANDING THEIR RIGHTS , NOT BEGGING) ETC.

The youth Congress activists were extremely furious and angered and climbed over the vehicles raising anti government n pro effarmers slogans in large numbers in support of the ongoing farmers agitation condemning the union BJP led government for not withdrawing the three black agricultural laws putting thousands of agitating farmers in jeopardy by deliberately extending/ pulling on their agitation under chilly cold weather.

There were hundreds of helmets wearing, lathi welding policemen accompanying the demonstrators barricading them not to allow to move further towards the PM’s office to submit the memorandum.

The youth Congress activists squatted on the road raising slogans not hearing to the police appeal to give up their protest demonstration and March ahead holding placards n raising slogans, finally arresting them in several Delhi Transport Corporation buses under police escorts with YC activists peeping outside the windows of the buses, exhibiting placards and loudly raising anti government slogans n pro farmers slogans.

The youth Congress activists also carried with them the ” Arthies ” of the dead Kisans during the demonstration expressing their strongest protests and condemnation over the anti farmers’ adamant attitude of the government and prime minister Narendra Modi for not agreeing to the requests of the farmers of the country to repeal the 3 black laws and allegedly leading to the deaths the twenty five struggling farmers during the last 28 days of the Kisan movement.

While strongly condemning the union government’s obstinate anti farmer n pro capitalists attitude by arbitrarily implementing the three farm laws against the wishes of the anti BJP opposition and Congress MPs in Rajya Sabha, the national Youth Congress president B. V. Shriniwas demanded the expeditious withdrawal of the three black agricultural laws and enactment of a fresh law on MSP with adequate compensation to the bereaved families of the martyred farmers during the ongoing farmers protests in various parts of the country and at Delhi borders.

National President of Indian Youth Congress B. V. Srinivas said that in the bitter cold, when the general public is leaving Delhi due to fear of Covid 19, the farmers across the country have gathered vigorously on all the borders of Delhi and are demanding the government to withdraw these black laws non-violently. In such a difficult situation, all the leaders and ministers of the BJP, according to their habit, are humiliating these Annadata’s with words like Khalistani and anti-national. In the last 25 days more than 25 farmers have been martyred in this movement. There are constant deaths of farmers and the Prime Minister of the country is busy doing events from Banaras to Gujarat. Shriniwas added: PM Narendra Modi is busy doing Maan Ki Baat, but he is not listening to the farmers. The government should not underestimate the strength of farmers.
I want to remind this government that the farmers had forced the British ruthless government to withdraw the three-pronged law related to agriculture, exactly 100 years ago, then how proud is this black British Modi government, he asked while addressing the protesting youth Congress activists.
