Former Railway minister and TMC Rajya Sabha MP Dinesh Trivedi resigns, giving a huge jolt to Mamta Banerjee

The vociferous West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banejee who’s these days confronting strong BJP tirade in her state, suffered yet another setback today when her senior leader, former Railway minister and Rajya Sabha MP Dinesh Trivedi resigned from the upper house saying that his inner conscience is not permitting him to continue in this house sitting idle not able to perform anything when my state West Bengal is in turmoil.

It may be recalled that the state of West Bengal is going to polls shortly and Trivedi’s resignation would definitely be a huge jolt for West Bengal CM Mamata Benarjee where several of her party MLAs have already betrayed her n joined the saffron party.

The senior TMC leader Dinesh Trivedi, while announcing his resignation from the Rajya Sabha membership said that he is resigning as his state is undergoing immense violence and he being an RS MP is not able to do anything. Therefore my inner conscience does not permit me to continue in the house. I am therefore tendering my resignation. I will now work for the people of my state said Mr. Trivedi.

To this the deputy chairman of Rajya Sabha Harivansh Narayan Singh said that there is an established procedure for this and he should write to the chairman of the house.

He also thanked the party n it’s leader for having sent me in this August house but said he is feeling suffocated as his state is in violence n he is not able to do anything.

Passing a negative remark on her party chief Mamata Banerjee he said that I had joined the party looking at Mamata but now it is no longer her party, added Trivedi. He said quoting Swami Vivekananda that he use to always say that when you feel you are worthless you should free yourself from the shackles, ARISE, AWAKE AND DO NOT STOP TILL THE GOAL IS FINALLY REACHED.
