Former president Pranab Mukherjee passes away after Brain surgery

India is greaved to hear about the sad news of late former president of India, 84 year old Pranab Mukherjee who breathed his last at Army’s Research n Referral Hospital in New Delhi after being in deep coma on ventilator due to septic infection in lungs. Former president of India Pranab Mukherjee died after battling for life since August 10 th after he was admitted in Delhi’s Army hospital for clotting in his brain.

He was immediately operated after having been diagnosed with clotting in his brain. After the brain surgery he was kept on ventilator under the medical care of senior surgeons but his condition deteriorated further since yesterday evening. According to the Army hospital’s medical bulletin issued yesterday : The condition of Dr. Pranab Mukherjee has declined due to enhanced septic in the lungs n is under medical care of the Army hospital’s team of senior docters.

He was continuously on ventilator under critical medical condition since the day he was operated for removing the clot from his brain. The sad news about Pranab Da’s death was revealed by his son through a tweet.

The president, prime minister, union home minister, defence minister, numerous political leaders from various political parties including Congress president Sonia Gandhi n Rahul Gandhi consoled the death of former president Pranab Mukherjee praising him to the hilt as a towering Statesman, outstanding political leader n economist, intellectual to the core n scholar par excellence etc whose passing away has resulted in a loss of an era creating a deep void extremely difficult to be filled.

Seven times member of parliament n union minister including finance minister from Indira Gandhi era to Dr Manmohan Singh’s tenure Pranab Mukherjee was the 13th president of India.
