Delhi kidnapping & murder reported, victim’s body disinterred

The woman from outer Delhi’s Mangolpuri area was kidnapped and then was murdered brutally. The incident was reported at least 10 days before. Delhi police arrested the alleged persons in the brutal murder case on Wednesday. 

The victim’s body was found in a grave in Delhi’s Nangloi area. The police dug up the grave to retrieve the engraved body of the poor victim from there. According to the police reports, the postmortem of the victim’s dead body will be done on Thursday at the Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital. 

As per the latest reports from a senior Delhi police official, the accused involved in the heinous crime were identified as Mobin Khan, Naveen Khan and Rehan. The alleged persons were the masterminds planning and encountering the kidnapping and murder case. After committing the murder, the accused buried the body to destroy the evidence. 

The police reports, “The victim’s name is Meena Wadhwan. The 50-year-old diseased woman was a resident of Delhi’s Avantika area. The lady used to lend money on interest. The accused were well-known to the victim. They had taken a ransom amount as a loan from the victim. The alleged persons were demanding more money from her. When she refused them to lend more money, as they didn’t pay the previous loan, the accused planned the entire crime”.

The accused were reported to have kidnapped the victim from Delhi’s Avantika area and murdered her afterwards, while the body was retrieved from a cemetery in Nangloi region. The victim’s body has been identified by her family members. Delhi police have lodged a case of kidnapping and murder at Mangolpuri police station.   

The brutal incident is proof that heinous crime cases in the national capital have been still in a rising percentage. The police are still continuing the investigation of the kidnap and murder case. The arrested accused will soon be produced to the court for further investigation.
