Covid 19 patients protest in Almora base hospital for being served stale food n no medicines ?

The Covid 19 patients admitted in government Base hospital in Almora, Uttarakhand has today posted a vedio in social media complaining about being served the stale food giving a foul smell and have also not been administered any medicines resulting in vomitting to a woman patient n some others.

The patients admitted in Covid ward of this hospital are extremely angered n irritated for the step motherly treatment being meted out to them at the hands of the docters, the hospital management n the paramedics.

The Covid 19 patients include children, women, youngsters n senior citizens. The councillor of Aam Admi party in Delhi originally hailing from Uttarakhand Pooja Badola has strongly criticized the hospital management of Base hospital of Almora under the rule of the BJP government of the state n urged them to take immediate remedial measures to set right the situation including punitive action against the erring doctors n other irresponsible staff.

It may be recalled that a month or so before a pregnant young woman patient also died in this hospital in Almora after she was delayed treatment due to her first being tested for Covid 19 , the report of which ultimately came negative but by the time she was to be administered treatment for her sickness she succumbed in the hospital ward for want of timely adequate treatment inviting tremendous opposition n protests from cross section of the society with AAP volunteers staging protest demonstration demanding arrest of the irresponsible doctors n other staff.
