Celebrated Actor Satish Kaushik Passes Away 2 Days after Celebrating Holi

Celebrated and awarded actor, writer, and director Satish Kaushik died in the early hours of today morning at the ripe age of 66. Best friend and close associate Anupam Kher decided to go to Twitter and share the sad news with everybody. Due to the unexpectedness of this incident, the entire Bollywood industry is shell-shocked. Satish Kaushik was born all the way back in 1956, on April 13th.

His debut role as a Bollywood actor had been on the character calendar in Shekhar Kapur’s superhit film Mr. India. He was an old student of the National School of drama and the film television Institute of India. He had made a significant impact with releases such as Jaane Bhi Do Yaro, Woh 7 Din, and even Mandi. He started his work as a director with a project going by the name of Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, Hum Aapke Dil, and Tere Naam are a few examples of popular films which were directed him.

The last post made by Satish Kaushik on his official Twitter handle was a string of pictures from the holi celebrations organized on an annual basis by ace lyricist and writer Javed Akhtar on March 7th in Mumbai. Ever since news of his untimely demise was made public, several Bollywood stars and starlets have taken to social media and have expressed their shock, surprise, and grief. Friends and former co-stars of the late actor paid their condolences to the Kaushik family while also sharing the happy memories they have of the actor. His wife and daughter now carry his legacy.
