Baba ka Dhaba’s proprietor complained to police against blogger who highlighted his plight a month ago n paid him Rs 2,33,677

Till last month extremely popular in social, print and electronics media, Malviya Nagar’s BABA KA DHABA is today again in the news, but this time with a different reason.

The octogenarian, proprietor of this eatery has complained against the anchor Wasan of SWAD OFFICIAL who was the first to highlight his plight when his Dhaba wasn’t acknowledging any customers (business) during the lockdown suffering from immense financial hardships.

Wason had then highlighted the plight of the owner of “Baba ka Dhaba” in the social media giving him n the Dhaba extensive popularity resulting in hundreds of customers pouring in, bringing fortune to him n his distressed wife. He even presented him a cheque of Rs. 2,33,677 seeking the blessings of the couple.

This money was donated by the people in the account of Wason as a token of financial help to the Baba of “Baba ka Dhaba”.

After this vedio going viral in social media, the “Swad official” blog n the blogger Wason became famous overnight with lakhs of views and hundreds of people turning to the Malviya Nagar Dhaba ordering for food items with Baba selling his total food stuff by noon, putting a board of stocks finished.

Number of companies had also put up their advertisement boards nearby n on the stall donning an advt of Salman Khan etc generating income for Baba Ka Dhaba.

People were seen coming there and taking selfies with the owner of the Dhaba etc loading pics in social media. Even several Bollywood film stars had tweeted the picture of Baba ka Dhaba on their twitter handles requesting people to help the eighty year old hapless owner n his wife.

However, after a month’s time when the sale receded Baba, owner of Baba Ka Dhaba has complaints now.

He had lodged the complaint in Malviya Nagar police station against Dead Official anchor Wason for alleged fraud by duping his money donated by people and news started getting coverage in the media with mediamen reaching n confabulating with the Baba ka Dhaba’s proprietor.

Speaking to NDTV eighty year old owner having been operated for an eye ailment has complaints against Wason of SWAD OFFICIAL saying that he has till now given him Rs. 2,33,677 only, whereas he was told by some people that about Rs 20 lakhs have been deposited in his bank account.

He questioned: how could anybody know about this when I have not disclosed my account number to anybody. He said that Wason had asked me not to give my account numbers to anybody as this may put me ( Baba) in problems. But he furnished his, his brother’s n family’s accounts in which lot of money arrived but I have been parted with only Rs. 2,33,677 till date. Baba meant that the amount deposited in his bank account has actually been allegedly deposited in Wason’s account but not given to him ?

However, according to a vedio posted in Swad official page both the Baba and his wife are seen blessing him ( Wason) while acknowledging the cheque saying that they don’t have any complaints against him.

While talking to NDTV Baba says if just in initial few days people can donate about 2.33 lakhs how much more money had arrived in Wason’s bank account, not given a single pie to me thereafter he quipped ?

There are no rush in the Dhaba now as used to be last month says Baba. Though the news report says that no FIR has been registered by the police till yet it,s a written complaint. The police is trying to investigate the matter thoroughly to bring forth the facts of the case.
