After Supreme Court verdict Ravi Shankar Prasad criticizes Congress n Rahul on PM Cares Fund issue

THE three judge bench of supreme court today delivered a judgement turning down the petition filed appealing for transferring the PM Cares Fund on Corona to the National Disaster Response Fund saying that it’s a public charitable trust and no direction can be issued to transfer funds from PM Cares Fund to NDRF.

It added that any individual or organisation is free to donate or contribute to NDRF and there is no restriction to do so. While welcoming the apex court’s decision, the union minister n senior BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad lost no opportunity in holding a press conference castigating the Congress party n it’s leader Rahul Gandhi accusing him of creating disunity in the country by blaming the government on Corona virus adding further that he lost no opportunity to misguide the countrymen on their government’s dedicated efforts to effectively fight Covid 19 at the pan India level.

Commending his government’s transparency and integrity Ravi Shankar Prasad said that not a single finger of doubt or accusation has been raised against his government on managing the funds received on voluntary basis by PM Cares Fund.

The union minister n BJP leader while criticizing Congress leader Rahul Gandhi n Congress party said that not only has the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation being run like the family trust is diverting the party funds into this Foundation but is also busy filing several court cases against the PM Cares Fund, nullified by the apex court today.

He said, it’s the Congress party which has in its report strongly favoured the opening of Indian market for expansionist China in order to improve bilateral relations between India n China.

Lauding the PM Cares Fund n the government for rightfully using the money donated in it, union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said that Rs 3100 crores have been used from this fund to effectively counter Corona virus disease.

In the history of independent India it is for the first time that Rs 2000 crores were used for buying fifty thousand ventilators for various Covid 19 hospitals in the country including allocation of Rs. 1000 crores for the well being of the migrants n people of the lowest ebb adversely affected by Covid 19 and Rs 100 crores allocated for inventing the anti Covid 19 vaccines in the country to counter this dreaded pandemic added Ravi Shankar Prasad.

Meanwhile the BJP chief Jai Prakash Nadda tweeted twice criticizing the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi after the Supreme Court judgement. In the first tweet Nadda wrote : Rahul Gandhi’s rants have been repeatedly dismissed by the common man who has overwhelmingly contributed to PM Cares. With the highest court also pronouncing its verdict, will Rahul n his ” rent a cause” activist army, mend their ways or embarass themselves further. In his second tweet Nadda wrote:

The Gandhi family treated PMNRFas it’s personal fiefdom for decades n brazenly transferred citizens hard earned money from PMNRF to its family trusts. The country very well know that the orchestrated smear campaign against PM Cares is an attempt by the Congress to wash it’s sins.
