Video of Hrithik Roshan Saying Hollywood Should Learn from Bollywood Ridiculed Mercilessly

Hrithik Roshan is an actor who has a huge fan base amongst Bollywood fans of all ages. Some of his most noticeable work comprises the Krrish franchise. This was a series that managed to leave a huge mark upon its viewers. After the third instalment to this franchise was released, it was very quickly compared against the successful franchise from Hollywood, X-Men. Back when this film was initially released, the actor had claimed that the comparisons were good. During a film critic’s conversation, he said that Hollywood should learn from Krrish 3. The question remains exactly what is Hollywood supposed to learn from that film? This video reached the Reddit platform, and the users had a blast ridiculing the video and providing the most hilarious reactions.

In an old interview itself, Hrithik Roshan had once said that now that the decision has been made to create the film, how would one make it, what are the budgets, and how does one create a superhero for India without being able to shoot in India, how does one shoot scene outdoors of a superhero saving India without being in India when the budgets restrict one from recreating the entire set.

The actor proceeded to add that in contrast to Hollywood films, the entire budget for a Bollywood film is 2% of what is the entire budget spent on a single sequence in Hollywood films such as Spiderman—saying that the amount of money that is spent on a single sequence in Hollywood action films is the money in which an entire Bollywood action film is created. The challenge remains that people should not be able to decipher any differences between the two. He closed his statements by saying that perhaps after seeing this, Hollywood will take a turn and say that day to create a film in just 2%.

Reddit users really took up the challenge of ridiculing the video and statements made by Hrithik Roshan by saying things such as a few things are better left buried in the graveyard of the internet. Some users revealed their disappointment with the film itself, stating that they were expecting a dark storyline within the film and not a children’s movie with a Bournvita ad in between, while some people said that Hrithik Roshan too is like the nepotist actors that now think they are the face of Bollywood such as Varun Dhawan who thinks he is Bollywood’s, Leonardo DiCaprio. Another Reddit user sensibly said that movies like Krrish 3 or just copying Hollywood superhero movie scenes, creating them with a low budget, and then saying Hollywood should learn from them.

Perhaps the bottom line in the centre incident was that the concept of Superheroes originated in Hollywood, so it is easy to say that Hollywood is the home of Superheroes. They know how to portray a character in the best way possible, irrespective of the budget spent. Bollywood is a penny pincher in this manner as it creates low-budget superhero movies and then states that Hollywood needs to learn from them. This all sounds very silly, given that they aren’t exactly the experts in this matter and won’t be anytime soon.
