Uttarakhand CM Rawat inaugurated Gairsain’s summer capital secretariat including projects worth Rs 240 crores

Uttarakhand chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat who had officially declared the long awaited demand of Gairsain to be made the full fledged capital of Uttarakhand as the SUMMER CAPITAL, has today formally inaugurated the state’s summer capital secretariat including formal inauguration of various developmental projects.

The chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat had celebrated the 21st anniversary of Uttarakhand Foundation day at Gairsain as a mark of tribute to Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali also who’s dream also seems to have been fulfilled though partially.

The separate Uttarakhand movement activists including the Uttarakhand Kranti Dal a regional political party considered to have been the main driving force behind this demand including various regional parties compelling the BJP and Congress to follow suit thereafter, however are still dissatisfied as they demand Gairsain to be converted into a full fledged capital of Uttarakhand n nothing less than that. While inaugurating the secretariat of the summer capital of Gairsain the chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat also, he also inaugurated various developmental projects worth Rs 240 crores n about seventeen lakhs which includes in all about 72 developmental projects.

While expressing the need to also involve private entrepreneurs in the developmental projects of Gairsain Chief minister Rawat said that about Rs 25 thousand crores will be spent in the development of various projects connected to the summer capital of Gairsain. He added that the state government has constituted a committee under the chairmanship of the chief secretary to monitor the various short n long term projects of Gairsain.

He also said that he would again visit Dudatoli to pay his tributes to Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali hi on foot shortly though he had been there via helicopter due to his abnormal health condition.

Meanwhile in a tweet chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat wrote: I have conducted an air survey of the Silkot during my tour of Bhararisain, Gairsain summer capital. We will be spending Rs 25 000 crores in the forthcoming ten years in the summer capital of Gairsain.

In another tweet he wrote with a picture of planting a sapling at Dudatoli as a mark of reverence to Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali, an eminent freedom fighter who refused n rejected the orders of the British to fire with his battalion on the unarmed freedom fighters of Peshawar led by the then Frontier Gandhi, Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan:

Our government as per the wishes n aspirations of Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali is connecting distant viliges with the metalled roads and improving the drinking water and health services for peoples’ welfare n well being.

On this occasion planted a sapling in the memory of the legend Garhwaliji at Dudatoli his birth place and also directed the district magistrate to do so tweeted Trivendra Singh Rawat.
