The union minister of Micro, small and medium enterprises Nitin Gadkari tested positive for Covid 19 today, just two days after about 25 Lok Sabha and Rajya members tested positive before attending the parliament’s monsoon session.
Earlier seven union ministers including the home minister Amit Shah contracted this dreaded virus. In India over fifty lakh people have been infected so far with nearly ten lakh active cases.
The union minister Nitin Gadgari informed about his being infected with Covid 19 through a tweet. He wrote : Yesterday, I was feeling weak and consulted my doctor. During the course of my check up, I have been tested Covid 19 positive.
I am at present doing well with the blessings and good wishes of all. I have isolated myself. In another tweet he requested everyone who has come in his contact to be careful and follow the protocol advising to stay safe. Delhi has currently 2 lakh 26 cases of Covid 19 with over 4, 801 mortalities.
