Tharoor tweet’s: Wonder, why our Home minister choose not go to AIIMS, when ill but to a private hospital in Gurugram ?

The outspoken Congress leader and author of several books Shashi Tharoor has created quite a flutter through his tweet when the union home minister Amit Shah after having been tested positive for Covid 19 got himself admitted in the high profile, super speciality MEDANTA HOSPITAL situated in Gurugram, Haryana on Sunday instead of preferring All India Institute of Medical Sciences.

Enclosing the tweet of one Vishakh Cherian terming AIIMS as the one of the unique achievements amongst Temples of Modern India, a concept coined by first PM of India etc, senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor responded : True, Wonder why our Home Minister, when ill, chose not to go to AIIMS but to a private hospital in a neighbouring state. Public institutions need the patronage of the powerful if they are to inspire public confidence tweeted Tharoor an obvious reference to Amit Shah.

Union home minister Amit Shah had yesterday tweeted to disclose the stunning news about his being detected positive after the Covid 19 test, saying that though he is in good health , I am being admitted on the advice of the doctors.

He had also advised all those who’d met him recently to go into isolation n get themselves tested for Covid 19. As per the latest news the cultural secretary n the union minister Babul Supriyo who met him recently have also quarantined themselves n got tested with reports expected shortly.

The union home secretary, ministers staff, at the North block office n residence including party office bearers n people who interacted with him including MPs n ministers if any will all be tested n isolated.

The union Home Minister Amit Shah who is currently recuperating in Medanta hospital under treatment for Covid 19 had also met the PM Narendra Modi n other ministers in connection with the meeting of Ram Janma bhoomi temple inauguration n related matters including the New Education policy, but the report says that in prime minister’s house n PMO adequate social distancing n all norms related to pandemic regulations are strictly followed .

Mr. Amit Shah was to be present at Ayodhya on 5th August during the PM’s inaugural visit but now it won’t be possible in view of his being admitted in hospital.

Meanwhile the Governor of Karnataka Mr. Purohit who’s 80 years’ old has been quarantined at the Governor house in Bengalore as his infection was mild. The Karnataka CM Yediyurappa too has been tested positive n has been admitted in a private hospital.

Amit Shah had held hectic parleys last month with Delhi LG, CM, Deputy CM, health minister, union health minister, DMA officials, AIIMS director and health secretaries etc n had also confabulated with doctors n paramedics when he went to inspect the first Delhi Covid 19 Hospital LNJP n also inaugurated the Asia’s biggest 10000 bedded anti Covid quarantine centre managed by the Ravi Beas Satsang n government authorities. He has also increased testings in Delhi n played an important role with Delhi CM to control pandemic in Delhi.
