Veteran politician and Rajya Sabha MP who was ailing since the last six months has breathed his last today. Sixty four year old Amar Singh left behind his two daughters n wife. A high profile leader n Rajya Sabha MP undergoing treatment for his renal complications Amar Singh died in a Singapore hospital. Late Amar Singh was in Samajwadi Party for a long time but later on developed strained relations with former UP CM Mulayam Singh Yadav and megastar Amitabh Bachchan as well.
He had just a few days ago tweeted seeking apology from Amitabh Bachchan n his family for his harsh statements earlier. Rajya Sabha MP Amar Singh had undergone Kidney transplant few months ago and was not keeping good health for the last six months n was admitted in the Singapore hospital. Amitabh Bachchan, Amar Singh n Anil Ambani, popularly know as 3As were fast friends one time but later on got detached from each other due to various reasons n personal differences.
Amar Singh had rescued Amitabh Bachchan from a deep financial crisis when his company ABCL confronted financial downfall. Amar Singh had extremely reverential relations with MULAYAM SINGH YADAV AKA NETAJI who had publicly committed to remain with him till his entire life but after political differences cropping up, the late leader severed relations with him. Late Amar Singh had good relations with senior leaders of all the political parties including Congress n even CPM. He was in close proximity with CPM general secretary veteran Harkishan Singh Surjit.
It nutshell he was Mulayam Singh Yadav’s trouble shooter who initially brought eminent film personalities n industrialist like Amitabh Bachchan, Raj Babber, Jaya Prada, Anil Ambani etc into Samajwadi’s fold n played a pivotal role in elevating Jaya Prada as Rajya Sabha MP on Samajwadi quota.
His opponents pronounced him as a fixer n also a perfect manipulator managing funds for Samajwadi party. In his entire political career Amar Singh n Mulayam Singh Yadav’s JODI was everlasting till a few years ago when AMR Singh was the AANKH,NAAQ N KAAN, ( AIR,NOSE N EAR) meaning an extremely trusted n reliable friend of NETAJI.
