NSA Ajit Doval visits his ancestral village in Pauri Garhwal to offer prayers to family diety

The national security advisor Ajit Doval alongwith his wife has reached his village Gheedhi in Pauri Garhwal district on the day of Navami during the ongoing Navratras spiritual festival to perform prayers to his traditional family diety Balkumari. The NSA Ajit Doval usually visits his village atleast once a year despite his untiring engagements, having also visited GHEEDHI to offer prayers n seeking pipus blessings of the family diety, after assuming the significant post of NSA.

Since then he had been visiting his village to pay obiesance to the family diety but in a secretive manner keeping it purely a family affair seeking no publicity.

NSA Doval had on Friday visited famous diety Jwalpa Devi temple in Pauri Garhwal while on way to his village from Rishikesh where he had been to reputed Parmarth Niketan meeting spiritual guru Chidanand Swamy n also participating in the “Hawan ritual” including paying obiesance alongwith his wife to pious Ganges.

He also prayed for “world peace” in this Hawan organised by Swamy Chidanand of Parmarth Niketan.

It is believed that the NSA was in Jwalpa Devi temple for an hour or so offering his prayers n meeting people n confabulating with the priests as well.

The Pauri district administration senior officers n the police had visited “Gheedi” village prior to his visit of Friday and ensured that proper police arrangements are made during the NSA n his family’s visit to avoid any disturbance etc. The inhabitants of the village n those living nearby feel wxtremely jubilant n proud on his visit n welcome him with open arms considering it as their immense privilege n honour.

The NSA also hears to their woes, if any n try to resolve them. According to the sources NSA Doval n his wife would again visit the Swargashram while returning back to Delhi via Rishikesh to participate in “GANGA AARTI” n may stay here during the Saturday night.
